Web Development Project

The  'Me, Myself and I' project brief was to design a portfolio website for your work. I chose to divide my work into Multimedia and design for Print. 

Multimedia work showed work completed on the course at the time of the project, 3D illustration and Digital Video work. The print design showed label and packaging design work.

Grove Gazette

Emerging Web Technologies & Advanced Web Programming project

The brief for this project was to create a news website which contained five articles. The user can browse all articles and each one can be opened on a page of its own. the user should be able to register, login, create and articles, upload a file and edit their details.

At the time we started working on this project I had just completed the research into users for the main multimedia project and rather than starting over for the project, I would design a website for the same set of users.

The main multimedia project centers around a bird Identifier aimed at primary school children, their families and their school.

'Grove Gazette' is a fictional news website about woodland creatures, for woodland creatures, by woodland creatures. The stories centre around local events in 'The Grove'.

The styling was inspired by Wes Anderson's movie of Rohl Dahl's ' The Fantastic Mr. Fox'.

Part of this project for Emerging Web Technologies was to keep a blog throughout the design development.
