Work Placement
10 April 2016
Students are required to take on 3 months work experience as part of the H. Dip in Creative Multimedia Programming Course. The work experience is due to start in June following the final exams and assessments.
Most employers prefer to take on people for six rather than three months, because people are usually just settled into their roles by three months into a position. So students are told to expect to complete six months work experience.
The main recruiters of multimedia graduates in the Limerick region are based in the Digital Marketing and Clinical research sectors. Creating on-line portfolios on issuu.com and behance.com as part of the course was done in order to help the student to build an on-line presence for potential employers to view their work.
